UK-JAPAN ADF AWARD 2010

Last night I attended the Private View of the UK-JAPAN ADF AWARD 2010 at the ROA Gallery in London’s Pall Mall.

Jamie-Louise Davis, one of our photography graduates (Class of 2010) is one of the 13 photographers selected as a finalist for the show which runs until Saturday 30th October with her image Temptress.

The Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday where four awards will be presented to the selected finalists from the disciplines of 2D works, Installation/Video Art, 3D Works and Photography.

High profile judges are Colin Wiggins (National Gallery London: Head of Education Department); Dan Fern (Royal College of Art: Head of Communication Art & Design); Michael Freeman (Internationally acclaimed photographer and author); Mark Hampson (Artist, Senior Tutor, Royal College of Art, Fine Art, Printmaking and Curator); Louise Hayward (Associate Director, Lisson Gallery, London); Mami Kataoka (Chief Curator, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo and International Associate Curator, Hayward Gallery, London); Mika Ninagawa (Photographer and Film Producer in Japan); Moriharu Shizume (Painer based in USA and Paris); and Marty St. James (Performance/video artist and Professor of Fine Art, University of Hertfordshire).
