MET Police Pitch by Photography Students

MET Police Photography Pitch

On Friday 12th November our photography students pitched their ideas/photographic works to the MET Police as part of a commission to display work permanently in the new MET Police building in Barking.

Well done to all the students who participated in what proved to be a very successful presentation. Completed work is expected to be unveiled in Jan/Feb 2011, together with work from students studying 2D, 3D, and Fashion.

Please can students comment on how the pitching went, both your own and your peers. Thank you.

  1. Hey, I think it went great.

They looked impressed and very intrested, good feedbad and sugesstions, the man was very nice to talk to as well.

  2. He said that he very much liked the image of the landscape that I had shown and wanted something similar done within Barking and Dagenham, he said he leaves it up to me what to do that will look best.

  3. I think that its a great opportunity that we have though it may be extra work, any think and everything that we can do as photographic students is a step forward, and the fact that people actually like our work enough to want to put it PERMANENTLY in there building is fantastic, I think!
